2nd Annual Central and Eastern European Trade Visit

2nd Annual Central and Eastern European Trade Visit

November 8 – 9, 2012

This year’s event was hugely successful with 50-60 participants daily and approximately 70 for the closing Sauska wine reception.  Many of the companies that participated found it valuable and made quality business connections, which is our goal.  But the businesses speak best for themselves and here’s what they had to say about this year’s event:

“I was delighted to participate in fostering business connections across borders.  The trade visit offered great networking and educational opportunities to businesses from both sides of the Atlantic; I look forward building on this momentum through future events.” — Dana Bucin, Immigration and International Business attorney, Updike, Kelly & Spellacy, P.C. and Founding Member, CEENET

“As globalization is at the forefront of all business transactions, FML was proud to represent Connecticut interests at this event.   Bringing local, regional and international perspectives to this conference can only help facilitate growth opportunities for our clients and business partners domestic and abroad, putting them at the leading edge of the new economy.” — Kevin M. Donovan, Partner – Assurance & Advisory Services, Fiondella, Milone & LaSaracina LLP

Axxun is very interested in entering Eastern European markets and the CEENET event was very valuable for us in getting a better understanding of the region and making contact with potential local business partners. We met many useful contacts and started discussions that I believe will generate actual business.” — Michael Forbes, Vice President of Marketing, Axxun Inc.

“I made several new business connections and received a request for quotation for new business from one of my contacts.” — Richard A. Laurenzi,  President, Prospect Machine Products, Inc .
